Since she was introduced to National Geographic magazine as a child, Alejandra knew photography would somehow play an important role in her life. Her colorful, slightly unconventional upbringing and education helped pave the way for life as a practicing artist.
Among many other hats she has worn such as taxi driver, antique dealer, moonlight organic farmer/gardener, and mother (her most important and valued responsibility), Alejandra has been a professional photographer based out of Minneapolis for close to 20 years. Known for her work made with natural light, she collaborates and partners with a diverse client base who are a constant source of inspiration and joy. Over the years she has exhibited her work in local galleries and exhibits including the MIA as well as the Minnesota State Fair. She has taught photography to inner city children, has been an art mentor volunteer for Art Buddies in Mpls and donates art work as well as countless hours of service to fundraisers and causes she supports. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Burnsville Visual Art Society where she is also an artist member. In 2010 she was the recipient of "The Peoples Choice" Award for the BVAS Art Fete. Her photographs can be found in private collections. She is available for assignments ranging from portraiture to fine art commissions.
